The Everitt Academy specialises in providing an education for learners with social, emotional and mental health needs that require significant therapeutic support. There are places for 50 learners aged 9 to 16-years-old and these are offered for a length of placement that meets the individual needs of each child.
To acquire a place at The Everitt Academy a young person must meet these criteria and will be referred to the school by the County Council's Inclusion Team. The pupils referred will have already accessed and exhausted tiers 1 to 3 of the 'Local Offer' which will usually include a short term intensive intervention either through specialist outreach services or a Pupil Referral Unit.
The Everitt Academy is committed to equal opportunities. All students have equal access to the curriculum.
