Curriculum & Timetable Model

The Everitt Academy will support each young person’s individual learning needs with a flexible and broad curriculum that meets national standards. There will be personalised academic and therapeutic programmes and the Academy will deliver an education that:


  • meets individual requirements, based on assessed needs

  • prioritises academic attainment

  • has a specific emphasis on behaviour interventions and therapeutic support

  • provides multiple progression pathways.


The academy team will include qualified teaching and learning support staff and advocates who will work with other specialists such as clinical psychologists and counsellors. Together they will work not only with the young people, but their families and agencies too.


We also integrate careers guidance into our curriculum, with the aim of transitioning all of our students into post-16 education, employment or training. View our Careers Guidance page for more information.
